In 2004, Club members went to Turkey. The Turkish people, on finding out we were Australian, immediately let us know that we were “family” – setting the tone for the historical and modern sites and sights we encountered. Of course, being at Lone Pine on ANZAC Day has become a never-to-be-forgotten memory.
